However, we offer all of our customers One Year Free Maintenance. We will continue to back our ceramic coating indefinitely, as long as it is properly maintained.
Once your ceramic coating is applied and fully cured caring for it is very easy. All you need when cleaning surfaces coated in the Obsidian Blue Wave ceramic coating is a soft, damp cloth and a mild dish detergent when necessary. Any other additional care will be handled by our maintenance programs. We give all of our customers a detailed Care Sheet when we apply our ceramic coating.
No! While it’s optimal to start with a new surface, our team of experts can work with older surfaces/appliances. We can remove rust and restore existing damages before coating, protecting surfaces/appliances from further damage. This will help extend the life of your appliances by years!
We can only coat stable surfaces. Surfaces such as marble and patina are not stable. These surfaces are actually living organisms and require oxygen to maintain their natural beauty.
When properly applied and cured, Obsidian Blue Wave ceramic coatings will not flake or peel. While no product on the market is indestructible, Blue Wave products bond with the surface they are applied to, and will remain that way until the surface is damaged or the coating itself is removed.
Yes, with considerable force and effort Obsidian ceramic coatings can be removed. We work with a variety of compounds that allow us to safely remove coatings. However, it is far easier to replace and maintain than it is to remove our ceramic coating completely.

At Obsidian Blue Wave we have close relationships with appliance representatives and can often get specific replacement parts for an item that is damaged beyond restoration. We’ll coat the replacement items and install them ourselves, restoring your appliances to their former beauty and extending their life.
